AOV SYSTEMS

  • Compliance Testing: Routine functional checks and full system activation in accordance with current safety standards.
  • Expert Repairs: Fast-response remedial work for faulty actuators, control panels, and manual call points.
  • System Maintenance: Mechanical lubrication and battery backup testing to ensure fail-safe operation during power loss.
  • Fault Finding: Specialist diagnostics for errors on all major smoke ventilation brands.
  • Certification: Provision of accredited service certificates and logbook updates for your fire safety records.

EMERGENCY LIGHTS

  • Monthly Functional/bi annual "Minor" Test: This remains a mandatory short-duration simulation of a power failure (often called a "flick test"). It is compliant as long as you verify that every luminaire activates correctly and that all charging indicators are healthy.
  • Annual Full-Duration "Major" Test: A "minor" test alone is not sufficient for full year-round compliance. You must perform a full three-hour discharge test once a year to ensure batteries can sustain the lights for the entire duration required by law.
  • Mandatory Record-Keeping: Both types of tests must be documented in a dedicated emergency lighting logbook to serve as evidence for fire safety audits.

PAT TESTING

Ensure your workplace remains safe and fully compliant with the

Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 through our professional Electrical Equipment Testing (EET)—the modern industry standard for PAT testing. Following the latest IET 5th Edition Code of Practice for 2026, we provide a comprehensive service that includes thorough visual inspections, specialized electrical tests for earth continuity and insulation, and a detailed digital compliance report. Whether for a business, rental property, or public space, we identify potential hazards to protect your people and assets with reliable, up-to-date safety certification.
